Dr. A B Gopalamurugan is a world-renowned pioneer in Interventional Cardiology with over 22 years of clinical experience. Serving as Senior Consultant and Director at MGM Healthcare, Chennai, he is widely recognized for introducing transcatheter valve therapies to India without open-heart surgery. He completed extensive postgraduate and fellowship training in the UK and served as an honorary consultant at Great Ormond Street Hospital, London. Dr. Gopalamurugan holds the distinction of performing 14 “First-in-India” and 4 “First-in-the-World” cardiac interventions.
